I have found some amazing people through Slowly! My closest Slowly friend is from Northern Ireland, and even though I live in England, it was so fascinating to hear about the differences between the culture and structure of our lives. Slowly gave the two of us the opportunity to be vulnerable without fear and confide in one another. It’s by far my strangest friendship, as we’re very different and would have otherwise never met, but I treasure it, as our friendship has been completely unaltered by our contexts and external influences. I’m so thankful for the services provided by Slowly. I know that every letter that I send will be received with no judgment, and usually met with an encouraging, and genuine reply. Slowly is incredibly unique, and every aspect of the app is so well thought out. I love that there are no photographs on the app; you can stay as anonymous as you choose. I have only come into contact with wonderfully interesting people, and hope to continue with Slowly for a long time, as there is truly nothing like it.
